Building regulation drawings add detail to the planning drawings for the builder to follow. They are sent to the building inspector who then checks to ensure that they contain enough information for the builder to follow.
Our standard drawings are suitable for submitting with a Building Notice application for Building Regulation purposes which would then allow for a Building Regulation certificate to be issued at the end of the project. If you are building close to, or over a public sewer you will also need to make an application to the Local Water Authority. As with planning applications we prepare the applcations and can submit on your behalf. If required, modifications to the detail are made within our fee to ensure compliance with current regulations.
For new housing projects our plans can also be used to satisfy your warranty providers requirements as well as for building regulations.
