Once you have finished designing your plans we make the planning application on your behalf. You need to stop making alterations to the plans at this point because the planners will be looking to make a decision on the plans that you have submitted.
Unless you are told otherwise, we will normally invoice you for the planning application fee at cost and then make this payment to the Local Authority on your behalf. This is simpler for you and means that we can track the application more accurately. Whilst the local authority will not normally register the application for a couple of weeks, they often backdate registration to the date that the fee is paid. They then have eight weeks in which to determine the application (assuming it is a minor household application).
Planning Guarantee
During the planning process the planners may ask for revisions to the plans and these are undertaken at no additional charge to the client unless they are suggesting a different scheme. Negotations may take place with the planners, but this does mean that your plans will be approved if you agree to make any changes asked for.
